Other things to know: Ever heard of Alta Magic? It’s a real thing and this route gives riders a good dose of it! Stunning views, single track that's unlike any other riding in the Wasatch and climbs that will test your fitness–but worth the effort. We will start with an easy climb from the Wildcat base to the Albion base. From there we will ride the summer road, up through the campground and catch the Devil’s Castle Trail. Terrain for this ride is varied, most of the climbing is on smooth gravel road or double track with short sections of rock on the single track. The downhill starts with a rocky descent under Devil's Castle (the hardest part can be walked) and then moves to single track that has occasional embedded rock; there are no mandatory drops or airs. Albion meadows was recently rebuilt and is now a flowy singletrack with good berms. The ride will finish on a section of trail called “The Snake Pit” which traverses under the Sunnyside lift before dropping back down to the trail that leads back to Wildcat.
