The Crest trail is an all time favorite with 1000 vf of climbing and aprox 4500 vf of downhill! The first 1.5 miles is a fun flow sections through the trees to get you warmed up before you climb Puke Hill. This is a steady strenuous climb followed by rolling hills to recover before meeting up the the Red Dragon. This section has 3 smaller climbs in the beautiful red dirt. You will be welcomed with an amazing view when you get to the top. Once you reach the spine it is all down hill from there. This is a fast, technical downhill with roots and rocks. We will ride down Millcreek Canyon to Elbow Fork and which point we can ride Pipeline trail or the road back to the cars. This is a long ride so please bring plenty of food, water and gear. This will be a no drop ride but please remember it is an advanced ride and upper level fitness and technical skills are needed.
