Other things to know: The Mormon Pioneer Trail climbs from near Little Dell Reservoir up to Big Mountain Pass. This trail is quite smooth, but gets a bit steeper as it climbs the switchbacks to the pass. It's easy-intermediate technical, but pretty strenuous aerobic. This is an out and back trail so if the climb is too much the group can split at a turn around point.


Directions to Trailhead: Take East Canyon Exit to Little Dell Res. park in lot on right hand side w/ guard station.
