Join us for a weekend of riding and camping in Vernal Utah, September 30 - October 2
Camping and Lodging: WomenMTB will be setting up a basecamp at McCoy Flats as a staging area for all of the events. McCoy Flats is a dispersed camping area so there are no designated or reservable sites. It is first come first serve primitive camping. This means there is no limitation as to how many vehicles are permitted or the types of camping equipment. We will be selecting a large area to set up that should be able to accommodate many participants, but latecomers or those with large set-ups may have to camp a bit further from the main event hub. There is tons of camping within walking or riding distance. The trail system is a short drive from Vernal for those who would rather stay in a hotel or RV park.
Group Rides: WomenMTB will be leading multiple beginner and intermediate no-drop group rides on both Saturday and Sunday. These rides are free to all participants. There will also likely be many adhoc self-organized rides, as you can access the trails right from camp.
Saturday Morning Breakfast: WomenMTB will be hosting a pancake breakfast free to all participants. Any left overs will be served on Sunday morning.
Taco Party: WomenMTB will be hosting a taco party with beer, beverages, bike games with prizes, and a killer raffle free to all participants on Saturday night.
Mini Clinics/Breakouts: WomenMTB will host off-trail mini clinics/breakouts. These will be free short mini-events for those who need a break from the trail. Topics include:
Wheel Lifts, Track Stands and Other Parking Lot Skills
Fix a Flat and Tire Maintainance
Bike Set-up, Sizing, and Suspension
Skills Clinics: Skills clinics with a certified instructor will be available for an additional charge:
