Other things to know: This is a multi-use trail, please watch for other users and obey Trail “right of way”. This is an out and back ride. The trail starts with a downhill section with a wide, machine built trail, switchbacks are wide and well graded. The trail opens up and is mostly straight for the climb, vegetation can be thick on the sides of the trail making visibility of other trail users difficult at times. The grade of the trail gradually increases from easy to moderate, especially in the last mile of the climb. We will turn around at or just above the campground for a straight forward descent. The trail is mostly a smooth surface with a few embedded rocks that can be ridden over.
