[SLC] Strong Intermediate/Advanced Group Ride- Seizing Jacob

  • Corner Canyon 1600 Highland Drive Draper, UT, 84020 United States (map)

Trail Name: Strong Intermediate/Advanced Group Ride- Seizing Jacob

Rated: Intermediate/Advanced

Ride Leaders: Sarah, Dora

Other things to know: This ride could be a little sufferfesty. 20 miles, 3300', linking the best downhill trails on the north end of CC. It will probably take 4+ hours. The climbing is technically easy, just a lot of it. The upper part of Carpe, is techy low angle down and turns into flow with a little tech. Jacob's is moderately steep and loose downhill tech. Rush is, well does anyone not know Rush?
Come with flexible expectations. It could go smoothly or it could turn into an all day epic. There is a solid chance that it will be Type II fun. We also might bump up the start time if it's looking like it will be a very hot day. We will have ride leaders and it is a no drop ride, but at this level of riding we are more like facilitators. Make sure you have adequate snacks, water, tools, and parts.
